Gay priest Jide Macaulay believes that God adores gay people

Openly gay priest Reverend Jide Macaulay says that those people who call themselves Christians but preach anti-LGBT hate express their opinion, not God’s. If they dig a little bit deeper, they will see that God does not judge people by sexuality and loves all His kids equally. Macaulay features in a documentary exploring the difficulties and achievements of the black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) LGBT+ people currently available for viewing on YouTube. he priest founded House of Rainbow Fellowship, Nigeria’s first place of worship for LGBT+ people, 12 years ago after he could finally find a compromise between a desire to serve God and being gay.“I have been ostracized, I have been demonized, there has been an attempt to exorcise me. I determined to pray to God for 40 days and 40 nights,” he says in the video. But later he accepted it and he wishes other gay people could accept it. “If we put ‘gay’ into an acronym, ‘G-A-Y,’ it simply means God Adores You. God Admires You, God Accepts You, God Accommodates You, God Anoints You.”
