Marriage Alliance, the failed campaign against same-sex marriage in Australia, has rebranded into anti-trans group after same-sex marriages were legalized, regardless of their opposition. In a video on the group’s Facebook page Damian Wyld thanked everybody for being with him on this long journey and he could not believe that a year had passed by, but now it’s time to pick a new goal. But this goal is no less hateful. “Radical gender theory continues its onward march across our country, particularly in our children’s classrooms, and that’s why I’m particularly pleased to let you know about the launch of a new organization,” Wyld said. Binary Australia head Kirralie Smith, formerly of Marriage Alliance, said the new group would ‘protect’ the role of gender in society from campaigns against homophobic and transphobic bullying in Australian schools.
