A suicide prevention charity in Australia has reportedly rejected proceeds donated by gay wrestler Dave Marshall who sold online the homemade porn videos featuring himself to give the profits to the charity in memory of his dad, who also died from suicide a year ago. However, according to the report from GSN, the Perth-based charity does not seem to be interested in such kind of donations. In emails sent from Beyondblue to Marshall, seen by Gay Star News, the wrestler is told that it cannot accept his donations because they were generated using fundraising activities which the charity disapproves. These activities include porn, gambling and alcohol. It reportedly gave Marshall the choice to give the $5,000 proceeds as a “personal” donation, provided he remove all mention of the charity on social media, or to refund the sum to him. He chose the second variant and gave the money to another charity, which helps people with mental health problems, promising also to double the initial sum of his donation.
