Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy and his boyfriend Matt Wilkas have got tattoos in remembrance of their late puppy Beemo, who was saved from a meat farm in South Korea but died within months. The sportsman explained that he secretly booked a tattoo appointment for he and Wilkas when the pair were in London to celebrate the New Year. The portraits of Beemo on their arms are aimed to remind of the dog’s short life and to keep a part of Beemo living with them forever. “I couldn’t be happier with how the portraits turned out and I am immensely proud to have a little bit of Beemo living on with us forever!” Kenworthy wrote. Beemo was not the only dog they saved – after her death they adopted another dog, who was named Birdie, and this name was also a tribute to Beemo, who loved birds more than anything.
