Los Angeles police are investigating the death of an unnamed man at the house of gay activist Ed Buck on January 7th. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said officers responded to a report of a man not breathing and confirmed his death when they arrived at the scene. The Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner found that Moore’s death was the result of an accidental methamphetamine overdose. In July 2018, a charge evaluation worksheet from the LA County District Attorney concluded that there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Buck was responsible for the death of Moore, reported CNN. But it was impossible to prove that Buck possessed the illegal substances or gave them to Moore. The case is now reviewed in the wake of another man’s death, the cause of which is yet to be confirmed.
