A teaser trailer for the new Spider-Man: Far From Home movie dropped on January 15th and it shows that the movie is history-making from the point of view of diversity in general and transgender inclusion in part, as the cast of the film includes two actors who identify as trans. The movie, set for release in July, will star Zach Barack playing a friend of Peter Parker and Tyler Luke Cunningham as a featured extra, The Advocate reported. Barack, 23, is an American actor for whom Spider-Man: Far From Home represents his first feature film. He said that being able to work with other trans people is a real gif for him and he is very proud to be trans, to be the way he is, and to be accepted and represented this way. Cunningham, 23, will be known to British audiences for playing Charlie, a trans character, in the BBC sitcom Boy Meets Girl, he hinted on taking part in the new Spider Man on social media a few months before.
