LGBT+ suicide prevention charity The Trevor Project has sent 100 copies of John Oliver’s pro-gay book A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, which was allegedly written to lash out at the anti-gay policy held by the American Vice-President Mike Pence by parodying his book, to the school which bans supporting LGBT, and in which, ironically, Mike Pence’s wife Karen is employed part time as a teacher. The Trevor Project announced that it has sent 100 copies of a pro-gay book created by talk show host John Oliver, which is a parody version of a children’s book illustrated by Karen Pence about the vice president’s family rabbit. “We hope Immanuel Christian School will adopt policies of inclusion for LGBTQ young people that make them feel safe, accepted, and loved,” said Amit Paley, executive director of The Trevor Project, adding that any sample o0f the book contains a note from them to the school staff, telling them to be more LGBT accepting.
