First male Superbowl cheerleader was bullied for years

Napoleon Jinnies became one of the first male cheerleaders to perform at the Super Bowl alongside Quinton Peron on February 3rd. And now he shares that his passion to dancing in general and cheerleading in part had never been understood by peers, they literally hated him for being gay and not fitting their standards. “The bullies would make comments in the hallway and one time, someone put gum in my hair. It got to a point where I didn’t want to go to school anymore, so I left and moved from Santa Barbara to Orange County to finish my senior year of high school,” he added. Later the man joined the dancing team in college and his first job was also connected with dancing – he was a part of the dancing show at Disneyland. So, if your hear dances, no hate can stop it.
