Ariana Grande spoke about Manchester Pride backlash

Ariana Grande has defended herself against accusations that she is exploiting the LGBT+ community by headlining the event that has doubled ticket prices. Moreover, people believed it to be unfair that the LGBT event is to be headlined by the person who is not a member of the LGBT community, at least she has never publicly proclaimed herself to be one. Grande replied that she was not responsible for ticket prices, she did not ask to double them, so she would not try to excuse it anyhow because she is not a person to be called out for it. As for nmot being queer, there is no need to be one just to give back the love her LGBBT fans were giving to her throughout her career. “The lgbtq community has been so special to me and supportive throughout my entire career. the relationships i have with my lgbtq fans, friends, and family make me so so happy, “ Grande wrote, “I want to celebrate and support this community, regardless of my identity or how people label me. and also i wanna visit a city that means so much to me. LGBTQ representation is incredibly important, and i’m always proud to share the stage with lgbtq artists!”
