The new Starz comedy series Now Apocalypse dscription reads: “While on quests to pursue love, sex and fame with his friends in LA, Ulysses’ (played by Avan Jogia) premonitory dreams make him question the possible presence of a dark and monstrous conspiracy.” In the show, Jogia’s character meets Tyler Posey’s Gabriel via a hook-up app. And actually, the two do hook-up. “We’re going to make the splash page of Pornhub, I’m sure,” Jogia said, adding that he really can feel it might be so hot that his and Posey’s characters will remain in erotic GIFs for years. “All of the sexuality on the show is joyful and celebrated and everyone has agency,” Jogia continued, promising that the show will explore sexuality without dark fields, there is nothing wrong or shameful in sex, there is nothing to feel guilty about if you have sex or want to have it. “Sexuality is a spectrum, and he moves around it. He definitely has the realms in which he’s most comfortable, but he’s also down to try new stuff out,” the actor says of his character, “I like playing a character that’s asking a different question about sexuality, even blurring of the lines of sexuality. It’s not so cut and dry. We can explore many things all at the same time. There aren’t enough characters doing that in movies or on TV.”
