Chloe Grace Moretz: LGBT education should have no age

The 22-year-old actress, who starred in gay conversion therapy drama The Miseducation of Cameron Post last year, told the BBC that children should be told at school that LGBT people exist, and she thinks there is no need to wait until children reach a certain age to let them know it. Chloe herself is a proud sister of two gay brothers and it has been hidden neither from her nor from their cousins, who were little babies by the time of both Moretz’ coming out, and children usually accept such news with much more understanding than adults could ever expect from them. “They grew up understanding that was a part of life and that love comes in many forms. So I feel like there shouldn’t be an age limit to that – I think it’s unfair to the child,” Moretz added. “Why not give them the full range of the spectrum to grow into themselves and understand that they have the world in the palm of their hand.”
