Julia Roberts supports gender-neutral bathrooms

Julia Roberts has spoken out in support of LGBT+ rights and gender-neutral bathrooms posting the picture of herself outside the gender-neutral bathroom with a caption that she wished they could all be such (all the bathrooms could be gender-neutral). Mrs. Roberts also urged her fans to donate to an LGBT group GLSEN, just as she did. “Hi everybody, I want to talk to you about an organization that I feel really strongly about, it’s called GLSEN. GLSEN makes schools safe for every student no matter your sexual orientation or gender identity,” the movie star told her Instagram followers. It is not the first time when the legendary actress is vocal about her work with this group, In 2017, she backed a Missouri student’s fight to protect LGBT youth, as the Trump administration rescinded trans-inclusive guidance. Paying tribute to 16-year-old GLSEN student ambassador Miguel Johnson, she said: “Miguel, like all the students I meet there, is smart, kind and incredibly brace to live their life openly and honestly as such a young age. As a parent, I want all students to feel safe and protected at school, and I stand with Miguel and trans students across the country. You are loved.”
