The queen of pop has announced that she is going on tour in support of her brand new album Madame X. She teased the fans that the atmosphere of the new show is going to be magical and very intimate. Beginning on September 12, the singer will visit eight US cities before resuming the tour in 2020 with performances in Lisbon, London and Paris. Arthur Fogel, president of global touring at Live Nation said that some venues are relatively small if to compare to the stages Madonna usually performs on, but it is done with a special aim for the pop diva getting closer to the fans, literally, as some of them could not even dream of it. The tickets were distributed via a lottery on May 6-10. Kicking off in New York’s BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on September 12, the Madame X Tour will visit the Chicago Theatre, the Wiltern in Los Angeles, the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston, the Met in Philadelphia and the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre. Resuming in 2020, the tour will move to Europe, visiting Lisbon’s Coliseum, London’s Palladium and Paris’ Grand Rex.
