Bud Light has released a limited-edition aluminum bottles with a Pride-inspired rainbow makeover to raise money for GLAAD in the wake of the World Pride and to mark the anniversary of partnership – BUD Light supports GLAAD for 20 years and coming. The bottles will be available in bars across the United States during the month of June, and Bud Light will donate $1 to GLAAD for each case sold up to $150,000. Bud Light debuted the bottles at the GLAAD Media Awards, which took place in New York City earlier this month. Andy Goeler, vice president of marketing for Bud Light, noted that they are looking forward to see the Pride-themed bottles in the bars of many cities in June (traditionally the LGBT Pride month) and later, if the consumers like this initiative, though they have no doubt the consumers probably will. “With the release of these new bottles, we hope to create something that everyone can feel proud to hold during Pride month that also makes a positive impact for GLAAD’s initiatives and the LGBTQ+ community overall,” Mr. Goeler added.
