This Pride month is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots of 1969, and the collection will raise money for the Stonewall Community Foundation, which supports a network of LGBT+ organizations. So, the popular fashion brand decided to celebrate it with a capsule collection of clothes with a rainbow pony print. Paul Underwood of Ralph Lauren’s in-house publication RL Mag said that this collection was not just inspired by the rainbow community, it was created with a noble purpose to help it. “One hundred percent of the purchase price from the sale of each Pride graphic tee and 50% of the purchase price from the sale of each Pride hoodie, cap, tote, and Polo shirt will be donated to Stonewall Community Foundation,” he said. The collection is gender-neutral, the promo pictures were taken by a lesbian photographer Cass Bird and all the models for the promo campaign are also LGBT+. Models in the campaign include trans actress Josie Totah, gay Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy, trans comedian Patti Harrison, and model Jacob Bixenman, who is dating Troye Sivan.
