Influential LGBT rights campaigners Precious and Myles Brady Davis, who are both transgender, have announced that they are having a baby soon. The announcement came from Twitter earlier this month. Myles, who identifies as two-spirit and trans masculine, underwent fertility treatments, their spouse Precious, who is a biracial transgender woman, was directly involved in it. Precious announced that the baby is due to arrive to this world in winter. “Our love has brought us to this place and now after a two year journey, we are celebrating a moment of triumph and are ecstatic to grow our family #babybradydavis,” she wrote. Myles Brady Davis is the director of communications at Equality Illinois and is a civil rights activist. Precious Brady Davis, a diversity advocate and public speaker, is the central region communications manager at Sierra Club, a US environmental organization. The then-POTUS Barack Obama welcomed them in the White House three years ago. The pair also became the first transgender couple to be featured on TLC’s series Say Yes To The Dress, before marrying at the Rockefeller Chapel in Chicago.
