Pose star Billy Porter, Randy Rainbow, Queer Eye and Gay of Thrones are leading a landslide of LGBT+ talent nominated for Emmy Awards, according to the list of nominees revealed on July 16th. Acclaimed FX ballroom series Pose is up for six awards including Outstanding Drama Series and Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Billy Porter. Transgender Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, and if she wins she will be the first transgender actress to have a major Emmy Award. Queer Eye has landed six nominations, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program, but Jonathan Van Ness has a separated nomination of his own for Gay Of Thrones comedy parody series. Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh are both nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for their role in cult lesbian thriller Killing Eve, which has landed nine total nominations including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series.
