Former Fox News pundit Erick Erickson has lashed out at Democratic Presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg because he is gay and he is not going to ‘repent’ in it, ‘practicing homosexual lifestyle’. “President Trump has said more than once he has never felt the need to repent for anything… [but] Pete Buttigieg is a practicing homosexual who wilfully refuses to recognize Holy Scripture identifies that as a sin,” Erickson wrote. He underlined that of course, both these people are sinners (all people are, except Jesus, if to believe the Christian doctrine), who refuse to repent, but to his mind Buttigieg is worse, because Trump does not make Christianity the core of his campaign, the Indiana mayor does. “No sin is immutable. Buttigieg has decided his sin is and, in trying to reconcile his faith to his sexuality, has departed from orthodoxy in determining his sin is therefore not sin despite the very plain and clear teachings of scripture,” Erickson wrote. As we said, Christian doctrine states that all people are sinners. Mr. Erickson is not an exception, because he judges other people and rates their sins, which is, according to Christianity, a privilege of God only.
