The L Word: Generation Q showed major changes in the lives of main characters

The first teaser trailer has landed for the long-anticipated L Word revival showing some changes that happened in the life of the group of friends for the decade we have not been following them. The reboot, officially titled The L Word: Generation Q, is set to air on Showtime in December, with Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey reprising their respective roles as Bette Porter, Shane McCutcheon and Alice Pieszecki, alongside the new younger members of the cast. Bette is now a politician and an LA mayor hopeful. It seems impressive, doesn’t it? Alice is a production company owner and a famous TV host. There’s less news about what Shane has been up to in the decade since she was last seen in the trailer—but she flies on a private jet surrounded by pretty girls and seems to feel awesome. There’s also a tease of a reunion for the characters, with Bette telling Shane, “I missed you,” before she replies: “I missed you more.”
