Frank Ocean has launched his own queer “safe space” club night in New York City

The out ‘Thinking Bout You’ musician, who has been out of the spotlight for several years, will co-host the New York City club night which will launch on Thursday. Frank Ocean club night named after HIV-preventing drugs PrEP because he wanted to do something in the style of the queer New York from 80s but safe, like if HIV-preventing daily drugs had been invented by then. The event rules specifies: “No photos or videos are allowed. Consent is mandatory. Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or any form or discrimination. The dance floor is for dancing.” Ocean noted that he has plans to invite the globally famous DJs for the night and that it will be only the first night in the series of club events he wants to hold.
