Manning responded to the president’s 330 words ramble with a two-word tweet, writing: “ok boomer”. In a second message, she said: “(this is an official response).” In March 2019 she was jailed again, after being held in contempt of court for refusing to testify before a federal grand jury investigating WikiLeaks. Manning, who remains behind bars, could remain in jail for up to 18 months after her legal appeal was rejected, while she will also face nearly half a million dollar fine for refusal to testify.
