Reverend tells people that Jesus does not care whom they sleep with

An Anglican deacon has written a column to remind everyone that the teaching of Jesus Christ is not against homosexuality as there is no single bad word about it in The New Testament. Reverend Michael Coren was born into a secular family and converted to Roman Catholicism in his twenties, but the Catholic attitude to LGBT people was not something he believed in and it was a key reason why he converted to Anglicism in 2014. A year later, he published his book, Epiphany: A Christian’s Change of Heart & Mind over Same-Sex Marriage, in which he explores how he studied the Bible and realized that there are more verses for LGBT people than against them. Jesus himself does not mention homosexuality even once, in either the old or new testaments, and according to Coren is “actually extraordinarily indifferent to the sex lives of those around Him”, the Reverend noted, and as for the Old Testament anti-LGBT verses, Old Testament also has verses according to which slavery, genocide and human trafficking are OK.
