Franklin Graham threatens to sue the arena that banned him

US anti-LGBT preacher Franklin Graham has reportedly threatened legal action against a Scottish venue after it cancelled the evangelical event in memory of the preacher’s father Billy Graham because of homophobic statements the pro-Trump pastor regularly makes. Glasgow’s SEC Arena confirmed on January 29 it was cancelling due to “recent adverse publicity”. According to the Scotsman, Graham said he would still be coming to Glasgow and urged the SEC Arena to reconsider the ban on his event if they don’t want it to end with a legal battle. e said there was “no question” that the council and venue bosses were “discriminating against Christians”, and the cancellation was “unfortunate because it’s based on heresy and false accusations by just a very small group of people” .Graham continues to deny that his speeches are hateful, saying that everybody is welcome at the event and it is inclusive.
