Trump ‘had Mar-a-Lago fumigated’ after a man dying of AIDS complications visited him

Donald Trump got his luxury Mar-a-Lago club fumigated after a visit from Republican fixer Roy Cohn because he suffered from AIDS. The claim comes from new book The Fixers, which looks into the relationship between Trump and the a Republican operative who served as the future leader’s lawyer and political mentor. Roy Cohn, who was publicly homophobic and fomented public persecution against gay people, but now the expert suggest that such hate could have been motivated by his inability to forgive himself for his own gay affair that led to him being infected with HIV. The virus developed into AIDS and took his life when he was 49. The now-President cut all ties with Cohn when he was diagnosed, but invited him to “a farewell dinner” at Mar-a-Lago shortly before his death, according to the book. The book claims that Trump would later recall Cohn’s visit to guests at Mar-a-Lago in 2016, joking: “I had to spend a fortune to fumigate all the dishes and silverware.”
