Billionaire Democrat Presidential hopeful Tom Steyer failed to answer a seemingly simple question about his own comments of LGBT asylum seekers. During the CNN event in October, Steyer had been challenged on whether he would put in place measures to bolster health care access to help LGBT+ asylum seekers . He responded that he definitely would and went into a moving speech about the American nation as an example of dignity and respect shown to everybody, repeatedly emphasizing on the necessity of sticking to these principles nowadays. Being asked the same question just a few months after, Mr. Steyer asked the journalists to remind him what exactly he had said. When interviewer Jeneen Interlandi explained that “you said that you would increase oversight of health care access for LGBTQ [people],” he confessed that he had no clue what it all meant.
