Democratic millionaire donor Ed Buck sued by family of a gay man whom he allegedly drugged

Ed Buck, the famous donor to the Democratic Party, is facing a civil lawsuit from the family of Timothy Dean, 55, who died in the billionaire’s house last year of suspected drug overdose, and he was not the only person to have died in Buck’s house under such suspicious circumstances. Dean’s sisters, Joyce Jackson and Joann Campbell, filed the lawsuit on January 7, exactly the day of their brother’s death first anniversary. The family has alleged that Buck “was a drug dealer who preyed on black men and injected [Dean] with a lethal dose of crystal methamphetamine for his sexual gratification”. According to the lawsuit, Dean was not aware of being drugged, and he was also forced into sex with Buck against his will. Neither Buck nor his lawyer, Seymour Amster, has commented on the lawsuit. Ed Buck is already facing criminal charges for allegedly causing the deaths of Dean and Gemmel Moore, 26, in 2017. He is being charged with administering methamphetamine to the two men, which resulted in drug overdoses, and maintaining a drug house.
