Margaret Court has sent money to an LGBT charity. It is quite unlikely for the Australian tennis legend to support charities of this kind deliberately. Mrs. Court is known for her opposition of same-sex marriages, she criticized transgender children and accused modern tennis of engaging young women into lesbianism. But last month she spoke at the Esplanade Hotel in Busselton, Australia. The hotel, which also sponsors and hosts the LGBT Pride afterparty in the city, later confirmed it had donated $500 from the function to the Sexuality And Gender Acceptance youth group at South-West Counselling Inc, reported OutInPerth. Margaret Court gave a talk about her tennis career and the 50th anniversary of her first Grand Slam. The event was hosted by Tennis Seniors WA, of which Court is the patron of the organization.
