Queer citizens of Northern Ireland are happy; they celebrate full marriage equality. People could be only in civil partnerships, but now they can enjoy marriages. Westminster updated this law yesterday, on October 22. It was possible after Robin Walker [minister] represented new regulations. LGBT people’s biggest dream was to get full marriage equality, and yesterday was the happiest day for them. The thing is that all queer couple have to wait till the 7th of December, because only starting from this day it will be possible to convert their civil partnerships into marriages. “You know, it is a big day of celebration for us. We fought for so long in attempt to change the law.It would cherish all couples equally and now we have finally got that,” Patrick Corrigan from Love Equality explained. Queer people are so thankful to all the ministers and officials who made their dream come true.
