White House says there is no evangelical advisory board

White House has denied appointing anti-LGBT extremist Tim Wildmon to serve on a faith advisory board and claimed that there is no such board at all. Wildmon himself had announced his alleged appointment in a social media post. In the same post he repeatedly praised President Trump for what he called ‘standing for the Bible, the Constitution and the family’, also noting that this is why the liberals hate him. However, in a strange twist, the White House has denied that any such body exists. White House Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere told the Washington Blade that firstly Wilmon had not been appointed anywhere and secondly, the only faith-related institution in the White House is a Faith & Opportunity Initiative led by an advisor, Pastor Paula White, and it does not have any advisory board. While it is not an official White House body, it has been widely reported that Trump maintains an informal evangelical advisory board which is dominated by extreme anti-LGBT voices.
