Nicola Coughlanfrom Derry Girls is sure that people’s brain is able to produce serotonin. She came to this conclusion when she impersonated Nadine Coyle. As it turned out, she was inspired by the Irish Girls Aloud singer [Channel 4 series]. It became known last Friday when Derry Girls star was on The Graham Norton Show. It was not so easy for her to find out Derry accent. Later she realised that it is Nadine from Girls Aloud. Coughlan also recollected a moment when she had to lie about her age because she wanted to be on the Irish Popstars show and compared it to the situation when Nadine Coyle lies about her real age to get in a girl band. ‘I am Nadine Coyle, I’m from Lark Hill andI was born 15/6/85/,”Coyle said being on the show. Later she panicked and started to call her mother to ask where her passport was because show producers demanded it. Later Nadine lost place in the Six, but won British Popstars and became a part of Girls Aloud.
