Lesbian couple adopted 3 brothers not to separate them

KC and Lena Currie got married five years ago. In 2018 they visited a meeting of a children’s charity group where they saw an adorable boy named Joey and decided that he was their son. When they officially adopted him, it was found out that he has two younger brothers. Noah was just 6 weeks old when the same children’s group called the Curries and told them that he was Joey’s brother and he also needed a family. The women agreed that the brothers should grow together. As all the bureaucratic formalities were done, they found out that the boys also have another brother named Noah, and he was in the foster family who initially planned to adopt him but changed their minds at the last minute. KC and Lena were asked if they’d be interested in reuniting the brothers and they said ‘yes’. “It was our gut-feeling. We were going to end up saying yes because keeping the brothers together was really important to us,” said KC, “When they’re older and have questions, they’ll have each other to lean on and experience that ride together,” she added, noting that the boys are yet to be educated about family diversity, but they know that they are deeply loved by Mama and Mommy and this is all they need to know so far.
